Commercialising Waqf Assets Programme

Unlock the potential of Waqf assets through innovative and sustainable commercialisation strategies. The Commercialising Waqf Assets Programme is a three-day programme designed to provide practical insights into transforming Waqf assets into impactful and financially sustainable initiatives while preserving their intended purpose.

The programme explores the legal and regulatory landscape of Waqf in Singapore, with insights that can be adapted to the Malaysian context. Participants will examine real-world case studies, Islamic finance solutions, property and social enterprise models, and digital technologies that can strengthen Waqf management, stakeholder engagement and long-term sustainability.

Led by Dr. Shamsiah Abdul Karim, Director of Pergas Investment Holdings, the programme is suitable for professionals involved in Islamic finance, Waqf administration and social impact initiatives.
