The University of Bahrain is inviting researchers and practitioners to submit papers for the 6th International Conference on Sustainable Islamic Business and Finance (SIBF 2026), scheduled to take place on 8–9 December 2026 in Bahrain.
The submission deadline is 10 October 2026. The conference will be held in person at the University of Bahrain.
Conference Theme
SIBF 2026 will be held under the theme:
“Innovating Islamic Finance for Systemic Impact: Advancing Markets, Products, and Socioeconomic Transformation.”
The conference will bring together research and professional perspectives across areas including Islamic finance, sustainability, financial innovation, FinTech, governance, financial stability and social finance.
Paper Submission
Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit their work for consideration at the conference. The full-paper submission deadline is 10 October 2026.
Selected high-quality papers may also be considered for publication in associated journals, according to the conference announcement. These include a Q1 special issue in FinTech, the International Journal of Economics and Business Research (IJEBR), the Journal of Islamic Financial Studies (JIFS) and the Arabian Gulf Journal for Administrative Sciences (AGJAS).
