Taking place at Preston Auditorium, the World Bank HQ, Washington, DC, USA, on Wed, May 21st & Thu, May 22nd, 2025, the conference provides a unique platform for thought leaders to share research, explore innovative solutions, and foster dialogue on the transformative potential of Islamic finance, the halal industry, and ethical economic practices.
OBJECTIVES

the world for sustainable development;
B. Share Best Practices: Discuss industrial and academic best practices from development
projects in East Asia Pacific (EAP) and its linking to the Islamic economics and finance
research, innovations, and implementation;
C. Identify Areas for Collaboration: Determine common focus areas for collaborative
initiatives and the potential for mutual recognition of academic research in Islamic
economics and finance including halal/ethical industry and their contribution to sustainable
economic development.
