Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB)

The Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB) is an international standard-setting organization that promotes the soundness and stability of the Islamic financial services industry. Established in 2002, the organization develops regulatory and supervisory standards for sectors including Islamic banking, capital markets, and takaful (Islamic insurance), while supporting industry development through research, guidance, and capacity-building initiatives.
