Certificate Course in Islamic Economics – 3rd Batch

The Shariah Advisory & Research Council (SARC) is organizing the 3rd Batch of its Certificate Course in Islamic Economics. The course is designed to provide an institutional and academic understanding of Islamic economics and to examine modern economic doctrines and philosophies in the light of Islamic jurisprudence and theory.

Conducted under the supervision of experienced Shariah researchers and subject-matter economists, the course covers the foundations of Islamic economics, core principles of the Islamic economic system, contemporary economic models, wealth and income, money and inflation, Islamic FinTech, capital markets, land and labour policies, the role of the state, Zakat and Waqf, and social economics.

The course is suitable for Shariah researchers, Islamic scholars, students and researchers in economics, social sciences and law, policymakers, academics, and individuals interested in understanding contemporary economic issues from an Islamic perspective.

Participants will have access to institutional presentation slides and class recordings. Classes will be conducted through both online Google Meet sessions and offline sessions. A certificate will be awarded following academic evaluation, open Q&A sessions, and an MCQ examination.
