DESCRIPTION:24th Annual Shari’ah Boards Conference\nThe Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) will hold its 24th Annual Shari’ah Boards Conference on 11–12 October 2026 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel\, Kingdom of Bahrain\, with the support of the Central Bank of Bahrain. \nThe conference will bring together prominent Shari’ah scholars\, regulators\, and Islamic finance industry experts from around the world. As an established forum in the Islamic finance sector\, the conference focuses on harmonising Islamic legal perspectives and enhancing Shari’ah governance in Islamic financial services. \nTechnical Sessions\n\nEstimating the actual direct cost of Iqrad (lending)\nControls governing dual-track syndicated financings\, with separate Islamic and conventional tracks\nInvestment in shares of mixed-activity companies\nThe permissibility of the exchange of value against a binding commitment\n\nThe conference will offer simultaneous interpretation in Arabic and English.
